Additionally, we would like to cordially invite you to attend the 2007 Annual Convention of PUAASC, which will be held simultaneously with the 3rd Conference of Peking University Alumni Association of North America at Pacific Palms Conference Resort in Los Angeles on October 13, 2007.
The convention is free to not only Peking University alumni but also general public. Please register online at http://pku.org/2007convention. Student registers will also have the likelihood to get the dinner tickets in a discounted price of $10.
Prestigious attendees of this conference include representatives from over ten major Peking University alumni associations in North America. Keynote speakers of this convention include:

? Prof. Clayton Dube, Director of the U.S.-China Institute at University of Southern California.
A fund raising dinner will be hosted by Peking University Education Foundation (USA) in the evening following the convention. This fundraising dinner is to support two worthy causes: first, to support the construction of a world class sports complex in Peking University to host the 2008 Olympic Table Tennis matches, and second, to raise funds to support Peking University students from financially disadvantaged families. Prof. Tian Yin from Peking University will give a talk at the dinner on the recently enacted Property Law of China. Please go to the pku.org website to register and buy the ticket.
Entertainment will be provided during the dinner, and a dance party will be held after the dinner.
