介绍：The Los Angeles Zoo, founded in 1966, is a large zoo located in Los Angeles, California, USA. The City of Los Angeles owns the entire zoo, its land and facilities, and the animals. Animal care, grounds maintenance, construction, education, public information, and administrative staff are city employees.
Located at the 5 and 134 freeways, the Zoo is home to 1,200 rare and endangered mammals, reptiles and birds. Highlights: Campo Gorilla Reserve, Sea Life Cliffs; Winnick Family Children’s Zoo; Red Ape Rain Forest and Chimps of Mahale Mountains. Picnicking permitted.
