He graduated from Harvard College magna cum laude and received his medical degree from University of California, Los Angeles. After his OB/GYN residency at UCLA-Harbor, he joined the staff at Good Samaritan Hospital and White Memorial Hospital . He speaks Spanish, Taiwanese and Chinese.
