一个朋友借了一私人的房子签了合同，但是由于种种原因双方也就是房东和我朋友在入住前达成协议合同取消。于是房东在合同上用笔写上：this contract has been voided by both partner .no legal+签名和日期，还有合同一共有2份，房东只在一份合同上写上了"this contract has been voided......请问这样的合同算正式取消吗？这样取消合同受法律保护吗？
（补充）原本在合同最下方打印注明：This lease contains the final and entire agreement between the parties Herero and no party shall be bound by any term condition or representation,oral and written, no set forth herein.

房租合约如何取消？
合同是双方两厢情愿的情况下签署的，如果是固定时间（如一年）的合约，双方仍可以同意提早中止，或者任何一方违约而提早中止合约。如果没有固定期的合约，加州一般是每个月合约，房东可以给一个月的通知而要求房客搬走。
